The Scag Liberty Z 42 is powered by a 21HP Kawasaki FR series engine and has a Hydro-Gear® ZT-2800 transaxle that can be serviced. It also has a spring-assisted foot pedal for quick deck height adjustments and a robust tubular-steel mainframe for increased durability and strength. In addition, the H model comes with a Hero Cutter Deck featuring sealed ball bearings and blade-drive spindles for exceptional reliability.
